Bayer closed syndication of USD 56.9 billion acquisition facilities

Bayer has announced that the acquisition facilities of USD 56.9 billion that Bayer had agreed with five underwriter banks (BofA Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, HSBC and JP Morgan) prior to announcement of the Monsanto acquisition has now been successfully syndicated within the group of Bayer’s core relationship banks.

AmerisourceBergen to Acquire PharMEDium Healthcare Holdings, Inc.

AmerisourceBergen has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to purchase PharMEDium Healthcare Holdings, Inc., the privately held provider of outsourced compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) to acute care hospitals in the United States, from Clayton, Dubilier & Rice for $2.575 billion in cash, subject to certain adjustments and on a cash-free, debt-free basis.
