Recreational marijuana becomes available in Las Vegas
July 3, 2017DB Labs, an independent cannabis analysis laboratory in Las Vegas, is testing cannabis samples for growers and cultivators to ensure the safety of recreational users.
By requiring testing for pesticides, heavy metals, mold, and other contaminants, the State of Nevada can ensure that cannabis is consumer-friendly and safe.

“It is of the utmost importance to DB Labs that consumers of recreational marijuana receive the same safe, thoroughly-tested cannabis that we provide for medical users. We are committed to exceeding the regulations and requirements of Nevada to ensure DB Labs-approved cannabis represents the highest testing standards available,” reported Susan Bunce, the President of DB Labs.
Nevada cannabis consumers should look for products that have been tested by DB Labs, or by other labs with rigorous testing standards. “You wouldn’t consume a candy bar that might contain lead and hadn’t passed testing,” Dr. Ben Chew, a regional lab manager, “So why would you consume unsafe cannabis? Demand safe products to ensure your health.”
