Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc., Purchases the Assets of Proteus Digital Health, Inc.

PRINCETON, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc., (Otsuka) today announces that it has purchased the assets of Proteus Digital Health, Inc. (Proteus), including assets and intellectual property for its ingestible and wearable sensor technology.
This milestone in the evolution of Otsuka’s digital medicine program strengthens its research and product development plan for a next-generation digital medicine that supports patient wellness, treatment decisions and the connections between patients and their healthcare teams.
