GHG wraps up ABC Pharmacy buy

Georgia Healthcare Group (GHG) has finished all the paperwork in connection with buying the fourth largest pharmaceutical retailer in Georgia, ABC Pharmacia (ABC).

After GHG got the regulatory approval, it announced on Friday that all due diligence was completed, and now its pharma business will have another addition. This purchase further affirms GHG’s position as the leading integrated company in the Georgian healthcare system.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GHG, Nikoloz Gamkrelidze said that the company is looking forward to meet the expectations of growing its enhanced pharma business.

“Following our recent announcement of the ABC acquisition, I am very pleased to announce completion of this landmark transaction. Having successfully obtained regulatory approval, ABC will be merged with GHG’s existing pharma business with immediate effect,” said Gamkrelidze.
