September 16, 2021The company’s No. 31 ranking is the result of employee-reported experiences of trust and reaching their full potential as part of the Florence team
ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Florence Healthcare has been named No. 31 in Fortune’s 100 Best Small Workplaces of 2021 rankings. Presented by Fortune and Great Place to WorkⓇ, this annual list analyzes survey feedback representing more than 280,000 employees working in small- and medium-sized businesses across the United States.
A leader in remote connectivity and electronic document workflow management in clinical research, Florence is committed to fostering an inclusive people-centered culture, and a key element to building and maintaining that culture is its Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) program. This committee operates to promote an environment that celebrates and values differences to better serve employees and customers.
“We’re thrilled to be included on this year’s 100 Best Small Workplaces ranking, as it solidifies what we already feel as an organization,” says Gia Ganesh, People & Culture Director of Florence. “Ultimately, what makes Florence a great place to work is the people and thoughtfulness behind the everyday operations. While we know a lot more goes into building a great culture, diversity and inclusion is a core component in ensuring a supportive, diverse workforce that drives innovation for the clinical trial research industry.”
To determine the 2021 Best Small Workplaces list, Fortune partnered with the analytics firm Great Place to Work® to analyze anonymous survey feedback from more than 280,000 U.S. employees. Employees responded to over 60 survey questions detailing what makes their workplace a great place to work. 85 percent of the evaluation is based on what employees say about their experiences as part of their organization. Great Place to Work analyzes these experiences relative to each organization’s size, workforce make-up, and peers in the industry.
The remaining 15 percent is based on an assessment of all employees’ daily experiences of innovation, the company’s values, and the effectiveness of their leaders — all to ensure they’re consistently experienced.
