COLUMBUS, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#AIDeep Lens, a software company focused on a groundbreaking approach to faster recruitment of the best-suited cancer patients to clinical trials, announced today the appointment of Greg Andreola as Chief Revenue Officer. Greg will lead the company’s relationships and solutions development with clinical trial sponsors, contract research organizations (CROs), healthcare institutions, and cancer centers to accelerate adoption of Deep Lens’ award-winning VIPER™ patient screening platform and improve cancer care. Greg has been a commercial executive in the healthcare and technology sectors for more than 20 years working for both startups and large multinational organizations.

“Greg is a world-class executive with extensive experience in precision medicine and clinical research and has a proven track record in growing sales teams and ROI for provider and pharmaceutical partners,” said Dave Billiter, CEO and cofounder of Deep Lens. “He will lead our efforts in driving the broader use of VIPER, our AI-enabled cloud solution designed to help clinical care teams match the right patients to the right clinical trial at the right time, ultimately accelerating patient recruitment and compressing trial sponsor timelines.”

“Many patients are not identified early enough in their cancer diagnosis and often miss the enrollment window for a potentially crucial clinical trial,” said Andreola. “Deep Lens’ VIPER solution provides the first true standard in trial pre-screening by leveraging advanced AI techniques to streamline this complicated process.”

Most recently, Greg was an Executive Vice President at BC Platforms, a global leader in providing a powerful data and technology platform for personalized medicine and drug development, where he led all commercial activities for the North American healthcare and life science markets. Previously, he served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Inform Diagnostics, one of the largest Anatomic Pathology Laboratories in the U.S. He also led the Digital Pathology business at Philips Healthcare to record growth while serving as Head of Global Commercial Operations. Prior to that, Greg led Sales and Account Management at Flatiron Health, prior to their acquisition by Roche.
