Changes in Lilly executive committee
March 2, 2017Eli Lilly’s senior vice president of global quality Fionnuala Walshis retiring after almost three decades at the company.
Her replacement will be Johna Norton currently is vice president, Global Quality for API Manufacturing, Product Research and Development, who will be promoted to her new role beginning in April.
Another executive change Lilly announced on Thursday is that Bart Peterson, senior vice president of Corporate Affairs and Communications, will leave the company at the end of March “to pursue personal business interests and expand his community volunteer commitments”, as the company said in its press release.
One of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies is currently searching replacement for Peterson, who is a former two-term mayor of Indianapolis, and has been with Lilly since 2009.
