Aldevron Names Cynthia Biffert Vice President of its GMP Nucleic Acids Business Unit

FARGO, N.D.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Aldevron–Aldevron, the leading plasmid DNA manufacturing company, has expanded its leadership team by appointing Cynthia Biffert as Vice President of its GMP Nucleic Acids Business Unit (NABU).


Biffert will work closely with functional leads to ensure the growth strategy, client communication, and project execution have strong operational alignment to support the strategic initiatives of the business unit. She will provide additional leadership and further structure while focusing on current and potential clients to help grow sales and to foster long-term relationships in the U.S. and global markets.

“Cynthia joined Aldevron in 2002 and serves as a mirror for the evolution our company has undergone,” said Michelle Berg, President of Aldevron’s GMP NABU. “Cynthia brings nearly two decades of experience with the company, our clients and the work they are doing to impact the lives of others. Biffert started her career with Aldevron in upstream manufacturing, helped establish the company’s QC department as QC Manager, assisted in the creation of Aldevron’s proprietary GMP-Source® quality system and the deployment of the GMP service lines as a Director of Biomanufacturing. She most recently served as Senior Director of Biomanufacturing where she helped launch neoGMP®, a service level allowing for personalized medicine.
