Abbott stands with the international community condemning the war and the violence in Ukraine against its people, and calls for peace, said the company in its press release announcing $2 million donation to people in Ukraine.

Our top priority is supporting the safety and wellbeing of our Ukrainian employees and we are taking all steps we can to assist them, the company said.

To support Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees, the Abbott Fund is donating $2 million to humanitarian organizations including International Medical Corps, Americares and Project HOPE to deliver emergency and primary health care services, supplies and basic needs for people in Ukraine and in border countries serving Ukrainian refugees.

We join those calling for peace and will continue to monitor the situation to see how we can further support the health and wellness of the Ukrainian people and our employees, the company said.
