The company said in its press release that it financed the investment using its own funds (45%) and funds borrowed from the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development (55% of the total investment).

The new factory has two manufacturing plants. The first one will manufacture solid forms of drugs – tablets and capsules in blister packs and vials. The other one will manufacture semi-solid and liquid drugs – creams, ointments, solutions, syrups, suspensions, lotions and suppositories. These two manufacturing plants will cover Belupo’s entire drug portfolio and  allow it to make new forms, the company said.
