MONTREAL–(BUSINESS WIRE)–On March 19, 2021, future pharmacists from over 35 colleges came together to participate in a live FREE Virtual Student Event sponsored by Medisca, a global leader in the compounding pharmaceutical industry. The event, created and hosted by LP3 Network, attracted over 350 students from more than 10 countries and sought to promote the industry through interactive discussions and first-hand narratives about the vital role that compounding pharmacies played during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This Virtual Student Event included experts from across the compounding industry, allowing pharmacists, business owners, policy experts, and Medisca representatives to host important conversations with interested students. The event was part of a larger initiative of Medisca and LP3 Network to consistently support the future of compounding pharmacy by exposing students to high quality education, research, and industry-leading experts.
“As committed supporters of student initiatives for over 15 years, we are proud to continue our tradition of excellence with our global partner, Medisca,” said Maurizio De Stefano, General Manager of LP3 Network. “We are thrilled to see so many students interested in the art and science of compounding, ready to engage as tomorrow’s leaders and begin making a difference in their own communities. Together, we look forward to supporting them along their professional journeys.”
