Managed Healthcare Executive® Pharmacy Survey Probes Strategies to Reduce Pharmaceutical Drug Costs

More than 34% of survey participants agreed that enhanced
point-of-prescribing tools to assist prescriber in identification is the
most effective way to reduce pharmaceutical costs.

managed care pharmacy challenges and how health care executives are
solving those problems. The survey netted responses from 200
executives in medical practices, hospitals, large health systems,
pharmacy benefit management organizations and consulting firms.
