(Nasdaq: KALV) today announced the closing of its previously announced upsized public offering of 6,181,250 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $36.00 per share before underwriting discounts and commissions, which included the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase 806,250 additional shares of KalVista’s common stock. After giving effect to the full exercise of the over-allotment option to purchase additional shares, the gross proceeds, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses payable by KalVista, increased to approximately $222.5 million.
