SHAWNEE, Kan.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#ECR–BioKansas, the organization that unites, unifies, and promotes the bioscience industry state-wide, is pleased to announce the Innovations in Ag Tech Conference. This groundbreaking conference is slated for August 4-6, 2022, in Kansas City, Kansas as part of the inaugural Innovation Festival – a first-of-its-kind event that will highlight the Midwest as a vibrant and welcoming area to live, work, and grow business.
“Innovations in agriculture are extensive and ever-emerging. It’s a technology domain that is dominant within the Midwest. The Innovations in Ag Tech Conference will highlight advancements and the significant role of the Midwest in agricultural innovation,” said Jaecy Bradford, Program Coordinator for BioKansas’ strategic initiatives.
The conference will bring together investigators, innovators, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders from across the Midwest to present recent scientific discoveries and technological advancements, while also showcasing groundbreaking products on the outdoor pavilion.
“Sixty years ago, agriculture underwent a massive transformation with the green revolution, which enabled us to feed the growing global population. As the world faces increased environmental constraints and huge population growth, agriculture once again will experience mass innovation. We are so excited to celebrate and showcase that innovation and how the Midwest will play a pivotal role in feeding the world,” said Andrew Jason, Grand Farm Ecosystems Director.
With over twenty-three hours of scientific content, BioKansas, and their partner Grand Farm, will demonstrate that the Midwest is an undeniable force in agricultural innovation.
