Hays, the global workforce solutions and recruitment specialist, has appointed James Nyssen as Global Head of Life Sciences.
The global life sciences market presents significant growth opportunities for Hays, it said in the press release. Furthermore, the appointment of Nyssen marks a strategic expansion of Hays’ STEM division, integral to the development and execution of the company’s business strategy.
Nyssen brings over 20 years of valuable experience in staffing and outsourcing within the life sciences industry. Throughout his career, Nyssen has founded several international recruitment businesses specialising in pharmaceutical R&D professionals and pharmaceutical physicians, the press release reads.
The company points out that most recently, Nyssen served as Vice President Global FSP and Strategic Staffing at Advanced Clinical, a clinical research organisation, where he provided global outsourced services for biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organisations.
