Gilead warns of fake HIV medications

Gilead Sciences was reported as filing a lawsuit against certain suppliers and distributors of selling fake versions of its HIV medications, according to WSJ.

Today was revealed, WSJ writes, that Gilead filed a lawsuit in July saying that over the past two years, more than 85000 bottles valued at over $250 million were sold to pharmacies via illegal paths. The bottles contained fake pills or some actual medications with counterfeited documentation or altered packaging.
