Geistlich Pharma recalls Decalcit chewing tablets due to Italian version typo

The Swiss-based company Geistlich Pharma AG is recalling batch of Decalcit, vitamin D and calcium chewable tablets, from the market.

According to Swissmedic, the reason for this is that the Italian version of the patient information contains an error in the dosage instructions.

Namely, as a daily dose, it has been indicated to take “12 compresse masticabili” instead of “1-2 compresse masticabili.”
