BioXcel Therapeutics Announces Proposed Public Offering of Common Stock

NEW HAVEN, Conn., June 22, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) (Nasdaq: BTAI), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company utilizing artificial intelligence approaches to develop transformative medicines in neuroscience and immuno-oncology, today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of $100.0 million of shares of its common stock. In addition, a related party stockholder, BioXcel LLC, expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to $15.0 million of additional shares of common stock at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions. BofA Securities is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.
